Bombardier CRJ 1000 NextGen Garuda Indonesia 1:130 Scale paper model

Bombardier Aerospace has delivered the first of sixCRJ1000 NextGen regional jets ordered by PT. Garuda Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, the aircraft’s launch customer in the Asia-Pacific region. The Indonesian flag carrier also intends to operate 12 additional CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft through a third-party lease agreement and holds options on 18 more aircraft of the same type.

Garuda Indonesia was represented at the handover ceremony, held at Bombardier’s Mirabel, Québec facility, by Captain Agus Wahjudo, Executive Project Manager, Garuda Indonesia.

“The CRJ1000 NextGen aircraft has already established a reputation for superior economics, outstanding fuel economy and better passenger comfort, which position it as the right airliner for our network expansion and new service to growth markets,” said Emirsyah Satar, President and Chief Executive Officer, Garuda Indonesia. “We are pleased to add it to our fleet and to be the first carrier to introduce the aircraft to the Asia-Pacific region.”

“The Asia-Pacific region represents a key market for Bombardier. Growing hubs and cities in the region, such as in Indonesia, are expected to become gateways for opening new routes in the very near future,” said Torbjorn Karlsson, Vice President, Asia-Pacifc Sales, Bombardier Commercial Aircraft. “We are thrilled to see the CRJ1000 NextGen airliner coming to the region and setting the pace in efficient service to growth markets centred around emerging city pairs.

The BAE Systems Hawk is a British single-engine, advanced jet trainer aircraft. It first flew in 1974 as the Hawker Siddeley Hawk, and subsequently produced by its successor companies, British Aerospace and BAE Systems, respectively. It has been used in a training capacity and as a low-cost combat aircraft.

Operators of the Hawk include the Royal Air Force, notably the Red Arrows aerial display team; as well a considerable number of foreign military operators. The Hawk is still in production with over 900 Hawks sold to 18 customers around the world.

Indonesia

In April 1978, Indonesia, seeking to increase its aerial capabilities, placed the first of multiple orders for the Hawk.^[58] The Indonesian Air Force received more than 40 Hawks in the 1980s and 1990s;^[59] In June 1991, BAe and Indonesian Aerospace (IPTN) signed an major agreement for collaborative production of the Hawk, and more orders of the Hawk were anticipated.^[60] Further Hawk exports were eventually blocked due to concerns over Indonesian human rights, particularly in East Timor.^[59]

During the 1990s, allegations emerged that Hawks had been used in the Indonesian occupation of East Timor, possibly as early as 1983.^[61] The alleged attacks on Timorese civilians and pro-independence groups performed by Hawks generated considerable controversy in the United Kingdom.^[59] In January 1996, four protesters broke into a BAe factory and caused £1.5 million worth of damage to an Indonesia-bound Hawk. In a subsequent trial, the four were acquitted as the jury accepted their argument of having used "reasonable force to prevent a crime"

Karinding is one of Sundanese traditional music instruments. There are some places that used to make Karinding, such as Citamiang, Pasirmukti, Tasikmalaya, Lewo Malangbong, (Garut), and Cikalongkulon (Cianjur) made from the midrib kawung (palm). In Limbangan and Cililin Karinding made from bamboo, and the use it is the female, and palm material mostly used by men.
